PFFT. Uncle Roger liked his fried rice. Him touring Asian countries and trying to learn how to cook the food is hilarious. He has gotten plenty of jokes cracked at him for not doing dishes well. But he does care about learning and presenting stuff properly.

His "asian inspired" authentic restaurant in england with oriental flavors. Was helmed by a white dude who's claim to asian expertise was an asian wife.

 

That thai chef who shit on him was great.

All this manlet rage over it. The show is literally him being humble and gracious to all these people showing him to cook with authentic flavors.  He goes deep into remote villages for it to show how people are cooking there too.

I think people can be experts at cooking any kind of ethnic food 

 

Most of those high tier chefs have french training. Even guys like Action Bronson and Matty Matheson have classical french style.

 

And the style is more in technique then in flavor 

 

French flavor is salty and buttery.

 

But hey continue this um quest against people who resent white people in some way...i guess pertho liked the whiteness of bon apetit and that white dude they deemed a pho master chef

 

I mean i am just waiting on ramsey failing on making mofongo and pernil

 

But if ramsay is a french guy why he always cooking like he is against the clock. French technique is preparing and taking painstakinh effort 

 

I think a lot of this food network stuff ruined cooking like porn ruins sex

I didn't say you were a woke dumb dumb. But invariably a lot of the people hating on him are. Got a white chef cooking asian foods. Where exactly is the problem? A lot of Asian chefs have trained in the west then gone back to use those skills in Asian cuisines. The same thing has happened with Puerto Rican foods as well as other places.

 

The guy did a bunch of TV where he goes to Asian countries to learn, gets humbled a lot and does nothing but put over how great and special each country is...and you called it colonizing.

Never seen 5. It looked pretty shit tho. They took the flaws of 4 (McClain being a bit too super human) and amped it up to the max.

 

4 is flawed, but I still find it fun to watch for the most part. 2 is about as good as 4 is, I just find the characters and situations to be less fun.

 

1 and 3 are fantastic and sum up what Die Hard is all about. Normal dudes dealing with impossible situations.

 

Sam Jackson is not in 4. He is in 3. 4 is the one with the Apple Kid and Ramona from Scott Pilgrim. Oh and Timothy Olyphant from Justified. 3 is Sam Jackson and Jeremy Irons.

Only reason it should mess with him is because all those cards have basically ruined M:TG flavors to hell and back. Current M:TG is trash. WoTC is a terrible company and the only reason they stay afloat is due to both D&D and M:TG being hobbies in  and of themselves. So isn't just quitting a game, its also quitting a whole community.

Gotcha. I've not watched any of the Diehard movies outside of the 1st and the 4th. 

Speaking of movies, I'm strongly considering renting out one of the theaters locally for my birthday, inviting family and college friends; and watching the shit outta some Wonder Woman 1984.
