The Remade Deamon Souls is great, and that free auto include is preinstalled Astro's Playroom is worth a play.
It's like a tutorial stage for the PS5 with nothing shoe-horned. 

The update patch for Ghost of Tsushima makes the game pass as a PS5 title how buttery smooth it becomes.

The year was really terrible the last time a place and island submerge in my country was on 2013 and 2009 it's either because of the storm being strong or mismanagement on the Dam. Now we got it both before end of the year.

What kind of pervert site are we pulling these things from? I don't mind, it's usually pretty hilarious, but confusing when I search "I'm invincible" and get a wall of people doing the no pants dance

Playing through some of my PS4 titles and Spider-Man: Remastered. I never played the DLC missions, so this wasn't a bad deal for me to grab it. I will be waiting for the patch that will allow the player to transfer their save to the PS5 version.

I see @DarkGeneralhas finally come here. I remember on the other forum you asked me if we were taught fundamentals for trading. I found this course that's mainly about trading with fundamentals: following the news, trading the days the Federal Reserve, central bank of Europe, central bank of Japan make statements, etc. I was perusing one of their lessons and the day Trump won one currency pair (one with USD as the base currency) shot up so high. Pretty interesting stuff I think you might like.

Happy 25th Anniversary  Goldeneye!

 

Like many people, my first exposure to the Bond franchise was the N64 game in 1997. After playing that, I rented GE on VHS and loved it.

I began watching the Bond films in the theatre as they came out and began renting older ones from BlockBuster in the late 90s/early 2000s.

 

Pros: 

The in camera shots and mostly practical stunts and action scenes.  This is Martin Campbell's first Bond film and he returned to critical acclaim with Casino Royale.

The atypical score. Very different from John Barry , but a fresh take. Highlights are Natalya's theme, the Casino music, the pre title escape from the factory, and the climax on the dish

 

Natalya isn't just a damsel in distress. She's smart and resourceful. She actually is a good character to reintroduce Bond since she can question a lot of the Bond tropes.

 

Sean Bean is both  a great theatrical villain and one you feel a bit of sympathy for in a Bond film. Also, I LOVE that he actually fights Bond hand to hand brutally in the final battle. Xenia is a great example of an actress giving flavor to a minor role. Most of the post Cold war (90s and later) Bond henchmen are mediocre , but her and Hinx.  Boris is good fun; Ouromov is just ok.   As an X-men fan, I find it interesting that Jean Grey and Nightcrawler were both villains in this. 

 

So many characters poke fun at Bond and his tropes in this film from  M, Trevelyan, Natlya, Zukovsky yet it isnt done in a mean way, more of a way to celebrate the character. Some of Trevelyan's best lines are in the cemetery and in Cuba and how he knows Bond so well.

 

The fact that the pre title sequence tied into the main plot

 

Brosnan is at his best here. Hes cld blooded yet can do some humor , but not as cheesy as Roger Moore. This film feels more personal for the character and feels the most like a continuation of Timothy Dalton's era especially Licence to Kill.

 

I also loved this teaser trailer

 

 

And one of the best final lines to a villain ever....

 

 

Overall:  9/10

Man I fucking hate DirectX. Every time I try to run something that uses DirectX there is always a prpblem. Always a missing .dll file or something i have to hunt down. 

 

Dog shit software *salty*

 

Edit: Also I don't care what anyone says, compared to the majority of other Emulators out there, Saturn Emulators are still total dog shit. What a ways to go still. Just getting them going is still a massive ass chore.

They're shit because there isn't a high demand for them.  Most of the good stuff on Saturn only came out in Japan, so a lot of people in the west don't have great memories of the console.  As a result there are less people working on Saturn emulators.

I understand why, I own a Japanese Saturn for a reason, but literally this morning one of the first google searches I see is "The myth of Saturn Emulation" And it's some dude like "All you gotta do is blah blah" well I did Blah Blah with 3 different ones and no it's not that simple, it's still a pain in the balls, and it still has an assload ways to go compared to almost all its conpetition. I had Dreamcast up and running in lass then 5 minutes. I poked at Mednafen for an hour and half and have nothing to show for it but a lot of wasted time.

You've got it good already.  I remember messing around with SSF and Yabouse back in the day.  I haven't personally tried the Mednafen SS core, but most of the pain is probably coming from the fact that it's Mednafen.  Multi-core/multi-console emulators always a bit of a pain sometimes.

Its all directX conflicts. Tons of missing .dlls so i go and find the missing ones, launch the MEu and it shouts out more missng .dlls. 

 

Its not the end of the world and im not saying its a bad emulator or anything. I'm saying that people claim its easy when its really not, its still got a TON of issues. Its so far behind almost every other Emulator. I struggle to think of Emulators that are less user friendly and harder to set up, stuff far less popular or desirable then Saturn content. Its more dissapointing then anything really. Not losing sleep over it or nothing.

In all seriousness, I have emergency toilet paper set aside anyway (and that was before C-Virus was a thing) so I'll manage, it's just me frowning at people and the situation. I care more about keeping my mother well so she doesn't have to worry.
